Medjugorje comes to Chicago

Mirjana Soldo is one of six visionaries of Medjugorje who began to see Our Lady in 1981, and who has been given ten secretes. When directed by Our Lady, she will reveal the secrets to a priest, who will then reveal them to the world. Mirjana is married, has two children and lives in Medjugorje. She meets with pilgrims almost daily to speak about Our Lady`s urgent messages of conversion and peace. She continues to see Our Lady monthly and prays and fasts for those who have not yet experiences the love of God.

Dr. Dean Murphy, DDS, an orthodontist who was inspired by Our Lady to warn Her children of the shocking news that the fluoride in our water and food is poisoning us. This is based on 10 years of scientific research and is detailed in his book, The Devil`s Poison.

Michael O`Brien was an award winning Rock ‘n Roll recording artist and a "non-practicing Catholic" when he went to Medjugorje. He was startled by a message from Our Lady to use his talents to bring people back to the faith - a mission he could not comprehend, but which his heart could not shake. In response, he recorded, "Sounds of Medjugorje" in 1990. It was an immediate hit and plays worldwide. Now, he tours 40 cities a year offering music and testimony in his "One Man Catholic Show."

Fr. Mike Lightner was an outstanding football athlete at the University of Eastern MI (6`4", 300lbs.) and ideal candidate for the NFL`s next offensive lineman, when he traveled to Medjugorje. Through his incredible confession there, and witnessing God`s Divine Mercy and Healing Power, he abandoned his hopes for the NFL and surrendered his life to play on God`s team now. He serves at Newman Center, Univ. of WI, Milwaukee and is co-leader at a yearly Men of Christ Conference with up to 3,000 attendees.

Rev. Joseph Grbes, OFM was born in Rama, Bosnia-Herzegovina and joined the Franciscan Order in 1986 in Humac. He came to the USA, was ordained in New York in 1993 and received a Master`s Degree in theology at St. John`s University. He is now the Pastor of St. Jerome Croatian Parish in Chicago. In his homilies he delivers a message straight to the heart imparting to each person a desire to be holy. An accomplished counselor, he is an advocate of frequent confession to put the soul at peace.

Mother Nadine Brown, a dynamic prayer warrior and holy sister, Mother Nadine Brown is the founder of the Intercessors of the Lamb, whose ministry is contemplative intercession and spiritual warfare. The Intercessors of the Lamb are dedicated to the contemplative formation of all Christians for the powerful ministry of intercession. Their goal is to develop and foster a deep interior life in the hearts of God`s people so that they might become, within themselves, "a house of prayer" as God is within Himself.

Susan Tassone `Holy Souls Champion` and beloved author of many purgatory books, including her newest book, Prayers for Eternal Life. Susan Tassone has appeared on EWTN`s bookmark and abundant life several times. EWTN has dubbed her the "purgatory lady." She has done over 300 radio shows & writes regularly for magazines and world wide websites. The dynamic speaker will keep you spellbound.

Fr. Rick Wendell As a thirty-year old carpenter and soon to be married, Rick was involved in a construction accident that left him clinically dead for nearly three hours. During that time he had an out of body experience. Later, on an unplanned trip with his mother to Medjugorje, our Lord appeared to him as The Good Shepard and asked him to become a priest. Rick entered the Seminary, and began a long and arduous road to the priesthood. Fr. Rick was ordained in May 2006, in Milwaukee Wisconsin, and is now associate pastor at Holy Angels Parish in West Bend, Wisconsin.

Andy Meier is a great witness of God`s Mercy. He was critically injured in a bus crash In Bosnia. Doctors didn’t expect him to survive, let alone walk again. But God certainly has another plan, as Andy is remarkably beating the odds. Andy attributes his survival to his faith, and the awesome power of prayer.

Colleen Willard is one of the most stunning stories of miraculous healing at Medjugorje. The Chicago native was dramatically healed of multi illnesses and conditions after visionary Vicka prayed over her on September 3, 2003. For someone who was unable to walk without canes and a wheelchair, she could barely talk and hold her head up, is now dancing for joy and praising God.

Father Charlie Becker is a priest of the Archdiocese of Chicago. Three years after his ordination in 1986 he was invited to go to Medjugorje. Upon his return he was introduced to the prayer group format of the Marian Movement of Priests based on Our Lady`s messages to Fr. Stefano Gobbi of Milan, Italy.
